We are a self-publishing company that offers you the opportunity to publish your own book in a quick and easy way, without additional costs. We support you throughout the entire process of writing and designing your book and assist you with marketing and sales.

We hold the philosophy that everybody should have the opportunity to publish a book. At our company you do that yourself, completely supported by our publishing platform. For a fee you can make use of additional services that will help you publish and sell your book.

You can publish paper books as well as e-books with us. In the former case we use printing on demand production techniques. This means that a book will only be printed after it has been ordered. That is environmentally friendly. We provide a wide range of promotion tools and the most important sales channels.

Register your account

The first step is to register with us. For this we need your e-mail address and password. Once entered and sent, you will receive a confirmation email from us. After clicking on the confirmation link, you will be recognised by our publishing system. Now you can start publishing a new book.

Account settings

In order to send you books and pay you royalties, we have to register your personal information. Under “Account settings” you can enter the following information:

• Email address, password: necessary to register an account (See “Register Your Account”).
• Address.
• Bank account.
• Newsletter: you can choose whether you want to periodically receive information from us. This function can be switched on and off at your discretion.

Publishing

In order to publish your book, you must go through the following seven steps:

• Step 1: General: general information about your book.
• Step 2: ISBN: get an ISBN for your book
• Step 3: Manuscript: upload your manuscript.
• Step 4: Information: detailed information about your book.
• Step 5: Cover design: design your own cover.
• Step 6: Price: determine the retail price of your book and your own royalties.
• Step 7: Publish: check all data and publish your book.

We offer a whole range of possibilities to promote and sell your book. Here are the steps to follow:

Web shop

All books published via us will be available in our web shop (excluding books that have been published privately). We have a worldwide distribution system and our shop is multilingual. When you decide to remove your book from publication it will disappear from our web shop and hence will not be for sale anymore. Customers have the following payment options: iDeal, major credit cards and PayPal.

What does your concept encompass?

How does it work?
It is very easy: you register with us online. Thereafter you will follow six steps to publish your book. Then you will go through a series of marketing steps to enhance the promotion of your book. Customers can buy your book via your own website and via our web shop. As soon as a book is purchased, it will be printed and delivered to the customer.

Am I obliged to buy my own books?
No, you are not. That is entirely up to you.

What is the minimum number of copies?
Every order is printed on demand, which means there is no minimum number of copies. It is possible to order just one single copy.

How do you earn money?
We earn money as soon as our authors start selling books. Per book sold we keep the same margin as you would. Furthermore we only charge the actual printing and transaction costs (iDeal, credit card, PayPal). We present an open calculation: you can always see how the price of the book is construction, how much royalty you will receive and how much we earn ourselves.

Can I publish my book in another language?
Yes, you can. Simply choose from the various languages that are offered for the book itself and soon for the website.

Who owns the copyright of my book?
You own the copyright of your book. This is addressed in the Terms & Conditions.

Can I switch to another platform or publishing company?
Yes, you can. You have no obligation to stay with us. However, as long as your book is in our system and has not been withdrawn by you, we are allowed to sell it. Of course we would regret you leaving us.

How can I place an order for a large number of copies?
In this case please contact us. Print runs from 500 copies are produced in offset, which will reduce the price.

When do I get paid?
We pay royalties to our authors every month, but this only applies if they exceed £10. If your royalties stay below £10, we will pay them in any case on a half yearly basis.

How sustainable is your platform?
Our concept is aimed at being as green as possible. We do not keep any books in stock, but only print a book after it has been sold. Moreover, we encourage the publication of e-books.
