During this step you will be presented with an overview of all details – that you filled out in the previous steps – regarding your book: ranging from title to book block and cover files, from a summary to the sales price you determined. This is the last check before you will actually publish. Check everything thoroughly, especially your files! We advise ordering a review copy before you actually publish your book. This way you can see if the result meets your expectations.

After checking and confirmation you click on ‘Publish’ and your book will for sale in our webshop within 24 hours. Congratulations! You just published your book.

Tips

• Check all files and all publication information well! This is the last step before your book will be published.
• Order a review copy first. From past experience we know that amendments will often follow after the author has seen a real copy of the book.
• Send review copies to relevant media and organisations.
• Remember to go through all promotional steps after the publication of your book. In this way you will maximise its sales success!
• Immediately publish your e-book (or paper edition) too.

What does the step “Publication” entail?
This is the last step before you publish your book. Here you do a final check on all information you provided. You can also order a review copy.

Why should I purchase a review copy?
Past experiences have taught us that authors want to make minor adjustments after they have seen their work in print for the first time. We advise you to purchase a review copy and check it thoroughly. You can always apply changes afterwards. The price of a review copy is the lowest tariff in the price table.

Why should I agree with the General Conditions?
Every web shop that sells products and/or services offers General Conditions with which customers have to agree before making their purchase: the same applies to us.

I only created a paper book. How do I create an e-book version?
Click on ‘Create e-book’ and you can make the e-book version very quickly. We copy all relevant data and automatically create a new book within which you can add the missing information (such as price and sales channels).

When will my book be visible and for sale in the web shops?
It take a few business days until all (web) shops have your book available including the correct information etc. We cannot do anything about this lead-time: it applies to all published books.
