Creating a PDF with embedded fonts

When uploading a PDF into our system it is necessary that the fonts are correctly embedded in the PDF. This means that all fonts need to be correct in the document when sent to us. Only then, the printer will be able to process the file into a decent book.

Please read the following instructions for creating a correct PDF.

Microsoft Word 2007 or newer

If you're using Microsoft Word 2007 or newer, you follow the following steps to create a PDF:

  • Open the Word file of your book
  • Click 'Save as'
  • Select 'PDF' as the file type
  • Save your file as a PDF
