During this step you can inform your followers of your book with just one click.
Furthermore, you can inform friends of your new book. This is done via an email with a personalized text that we have created for you. You may still alter this text if you wish. Of course we have included a link to your website. Via this link your friends will be directed to your personal website, where they can read more about your book and where they have the opportunity to purchase it. Naturally, they can also go to our web shop, where they can easily find your book.
Besides, there are plenty of options available to regularly inform your followers of your book and other matters, such as your own website, blog posts, tweets and newsletters.

FAQ
What does the step: “followers” entail?
At this step you can send an email to all your followers. Via this email you can tell all your followers that your book has been published. Naturally, a link to your website is included in the email, so that people who show an interest in your book can directly go to your website. It is also possible to send your friends a personal email with your own text.
How do I acquire followers?
You can invite people via your personal dashboard.
Do I have to enter my friends’ email addresses myself?
Yes, so it will take a while when you have many friends. Some of your good friends might already be a follower on the platform and they will automatically receive a message informing them about your new book.
Why can I only use this option once?
We want to prevent spam mail from authors who, for example, will send an email every day with the message that his or her book (the same book) has been published. You announce your new book only once. There will be plenty of other options available to draw attention to your book, such as your own website, a newsletter, blog posts and tweets.
How do I copy the example text you drafted?
This is very simple. Move your cursor to the beginning of the text. Next, press the left mouse button and drag the cursor down until you have selected the entire text. Click on the right mouse button and select ‘Copy’. Go to your email or a Word document and click on the right mouse button again and select ‘Paste’. The quicker option is to move your cursor to any place in the text and press [CTRL] and [A] simultaneously on your keyboard. Now, all text is selected. Now press [CTRL] and [C] simultaneously, and all text is copied. Go to your email or Word document and press both [CTRL] and [V] simultaneously. The text will be pasted.
Do you have other suggestions regarding e-mailings?
- Add the front image of the cover
- Add a picture of yourself
- Remember to mention the retail price and ISBN
- Always include a link to your book in the shop or your own website
- Ask friends, family and acquaintances to distribute the email or link to people within their own network
